How To Join

Requirements

Must be 17.5 years old (with guardian approval and signature) or older.
Must have a High School diploma/GED or equivalent (proof of 1500 hours of work in the construction industry).
Fill out an online application to be added to the wait list at the Carpenters Training Committee for Northern California(CTCNC) website.
To be proactive and get off the wait list, you need to find a signatory company to hire you and write you a sponsorship letter, which will get you entry into the Apprenticeship.
Once you are in receipt of all documentation, bring everything to a Business Agent at your local union hall Monday – Friday between 7am-9am or 3pm-5pm.
